Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 April 2022

This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Association of Australian Education Representatives in India  (“AAERI”) website located at https://www.aaeri.org.in (the “Site”).

In this Privacy Policy, the terms “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to AAERI, and the terms “you” and “your” refer to you as a visitor to the site.

AAERI  respects the privacy of its members and other visitors to its website. AAERI strongly believes that if online activities are to flourish, members, admission professionals and consumers must be assured that information provided online is used responsibly and appropriately.

To protect your privacy, AAERI  has implemented the following policy.

Collected Information
Most data AAERI collects is used only to help us better serve our members. It is our general policy to collect and store only personal information that our members and visitors knowingly provide. If our privacy policies change, we will notify all users by email or a special announcement placed on the website.

From General Users
AAERI does not collect any personal information from users browsing its website. Only aggregate data—such as the number of hits per page—are collected. Aggregate data are only used for internal and marketing purposes and do not provide any personally identifying information.

From AAERI Members, Applicants, Events, Conference Registrants, and Others
To gain access to members-only resources and personalization features on IECAonline.com, members are asked to register and provide some limited information. This information is submitted voluntarily. AAERI asks users to provide their name, organization name, business phone, and email. Similar information may be submitted to AAERI through membership applications, conference or event registration, and publication orders.

Additionally, for some emails sent in HTML format by AAERI to its members through its MailChimp / Sendinblue and electronic news, we will collect specific information regarding what the recipient does with that email. For those emails, AAERI may monitor only in aggregate whether a recipient opens the email, subsequently clicks through to links provided in the message.  AAERI only uses this information to enhance its communication to its members and potential participants in AAERI sponsored events.

This information is not sold or distributed in any other manner.

How Does AAERI Use Data Collected?

AAERI uses information voluntarily submitted by members and others in the following ways:

·    AAERI Member Services and Products. Generally, AAERI uses data collected to improve its own web content; to respond to visitors’ interests, needs and preferences; and to develop new products and services.

On occasion, AAERI may also provide limited data to schools, colleges, program, and service companies that offer information, products and services related to Australian student recruitment. These limited data include names, job titles, companies and business addresses, telephone number (s) and email addresses.
