Introducing the AAERI Verification Tool

Secure Student Document Verification Made Easy

AAERI proudly introduces its document verification tool, AAERI Verify, developed in association with Zupple Labs and powered by DigiLocker—a flagship initiative under the Digital India program, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

This tool offers a secure, cloud-based platform for the issuance, storage, sharing, and verification of documents in digital format—ensuring authenticity, transparency, and ease of access.

Key Features at a Glance

  • Secure access to verified digital documents through India’s DigiLocker system
  • Verification of identity, education documents for student and income tax records and bank statements of sponsors
  • Direct integration with Indian colleges and university e-verification platforms
  • Authentic, tamper-proof verification reports with source links for easy validation
  • Fast, reliable, and scalable solution for document and identity verification
  • Student-authorised verifications – documents are accessed only with the student’s consent

Promotes transparency and supports self-regulation in student recruitment

How It Works:

  1. Portal access is available only to registered AAERI members and Australian institutions.
  2. Verifications for AAERI members are free up to a defined quota.
  3. Submit a document or initiate a verification request through the platform.
  4. The platform connects to trusted sources:
    • DigiLocker APIs – Official Government of India database
    • University e-verification systems
    • Income Tax Department
    • CIBIL reports
  5. Receive a Verified Report that includes:

    • đź”— Verification source
    • đź“„ Direct link or snapshot of the source record
